Reason has created a set of single cycle waveforms for use with Wusikstation and Straightliner VST plug-ins. You can load them up in any VSTi that accepts such a format really. Head over to his site and pick them up. They’re free - and licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution 3.0 license.

Derivatives//Vocal Reconstruction 1

We’ve released a new loop and sample pack we’ve been toying with, which is part of another new series of releases called Derivatives. The packs are designed by creating a small amount of abstract samples, forming them sonically, and then ripping them apart and continuously deriving new loops/samples/sounds from the original material. This first pack was created by recording 5 or so vocal clips, and then we designed the rest based loosely off the originals.(you can’t tell ) The pack contains:

35 reconstructed loops at 140 BPM
15 One-Shot (sorta) mangled samples
25 Individual hits for use in a drum sampler

We’ve just released a new loop and sample pack, which includes 24 loops in 3 categories, as well as all the samples and MIDI files that were used to make the loops. Have fun!

Shortcircuit Essentials Patch Library

Keyman Sam @ the KVR forums has released a patch library for Shortcircuit 1 called Shortcircuit
Essentials. He’s put a lot of time and effort onto this library, so do yourself a favor and check it out. Here’s a small blurb from his post:
